Before you start
- Find the learn button on your opener’s motor unit. It’s often under a light cover or a flap, and may be labelled “Learn”, “Code” or “Prog”.
- Have a step ladder if your opener is mounted on the ceiling.
- Put the battery in the new remote and check its light flashes when you press a button.
- Keep people, pets and cars clear of the door. It may move while you test.
